Sean Healy's Out Of AG Experiences included climbing rocks and flying sail planes.

The rock climbing was at Pinnacle Peak. Steve Roberts (from Houston) organized the SIG, Clay suggested the location and secured the equipment.

The flight occurred out of Turf Soaring School http://www.turfsoaring.com/, located at Pleasant Valley Airport (P48), north of Phoenix, a little less than thirty miles from the hotel. I believe the instructor's name is Richard Born. I have since learned that this school is fairly well known and respected.

The flight was in a Schweizer SGs233, towed by a Pawnee. The flight lasted exactly one hour, and reached altitudes in excess of 7000'. I had control during most of the flight. I can't claim that I could stay up in a glider as long as I want, but I did stay up as long as I wanted during that flight.
